James P. Bartels, MD
Dr. James Bartels is a founding partner of Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists and has practiced in Manchester since 1987. In New Hampshire Magazine’s annual Physician Survey, Dr. Bartels has been recognized for seven consecutive years, from 2005 to 2011, as the top Otolaryngologist in the state of New Hampshire.
Dr. Bartels practices all aspects of Otolaryngology, with a special interest in ear, nose and throat disorders of children. In addition, he has expertise in many facial plastic surgical techniques, including rhinoplasty (plastic surgery of the nose) and noninvasive facial rejuvenation. This latter category encompasses procedures such as laser skin resurfacing, Botox ® Cosmetic (www.botoxcosmetic.com), Restylane ® (www.restylane.com) and Radiesse ® (www.radiesse.com) utilized for reduction of facial wrinkles.
Dr. Bartels graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine with honors and received his surgical and otolaryngology training in Cooperstown and Rochester, N.Y. respectively. He has served in many positions of medical leadership, both locally at Elliot Hospital and Catholic Medical Center, as well as on a state-wide level.
